Avidly Brained condenses the work of professional biochemist and amateur photographer Ryan Leib. His images have been featured in various online publications, regional news, and parks & wildlife websites. Based out of Burlingame, this collection covers a lot of ground in northern California, as well as various locations across four continents whenever life provides an opportunity. Dr. Leib is also a Part 107 certified remote pilot.

Currently, I'm shooting on a Sony a7riii, using two main lenses:

Sony FE 200-600mm/F5.6-6.3 G SuperTele

Sony FE 15-35mm/F2.8 GM WideZoom

While I feel pretty agnostic about preferred subjects, my wife will tell you it's birds - always birds.
